Trout Parade

May 2nd, 2008 by sue ~ Edit post

The 5th Annual Trout Parade is Saturday, June 14th, rain or shine!

Completely original to Livingston Manor is Sullivan County’s premier art parade and everyone’s favorite summer event—one that has great sole and makes a difference by contributing to the Livingston Manor Central School’s Art & Music programs. Proceeds from last year’s parade raised $3,400. This year, with your support, we aspire to give even more!

In addition to traditional parade favorites, like Bud Wertheim’s Johnny Darling and Giant Articulated Trout, and New York City’s fabulous Hungry March Band, we have new offerings for the whole family. Making their debut this year will be:

* Paprika, an all-female group that performs dance music from around the globe including forays into Brazilian, Caribbean, near Eastern and African styles.

* The Catskill Puppet Theater, which carries on the living tradition of traveling puppet troupes.

* And many more surprises!

Join the fun!

Make a costume! Build a float! Be a supporter!
